This Tutorial teaches you how to transfer pictures from your Android’s internal hard drive onto an SD card. Follow our guide step by step to get it done easily.
Here are the Steps below;
Make sure your Android’s SD card is in place. If you need to insert the SD card, you may need to remove the back from your Android.
In some cases, you’ll need to remove the battery from your Android as well before you can access the SD slot.
Open your Android’s Settings .
It’s a gear-shaped app in your Android’s App Drawer.
Scroll down and tap
Storage . This option is about halfway down the Settings page.
On a Samsung device, tap
Tap Internal storage . It’s at the bottom of the “Device storage” group of options.
Some devices might have
Internal shared storage here instead
Tap Images . You’ll find this option near the middle of the menu.
Select an image location. Tap
Camera to view any photos you’ve taken using your Android’s camera. You can also tap another folder listed here to pull photos from a different location (e.g., an app) if applicable.
Select photos to move. Tap and hold a photo to select it, then tap other photos you want to move to select them as well. You can also tap ⋮ and then tap Select All to select every photo in the folder.
(On a Samsung Galaxy devices, you’ll instead tap ⋮ in the top-right corner, tap Edit in the drop-down menu, and then tap each photo you want to move.)
Tap ⋮ . It’s in the top-right corner of the screen. A drop-down menu will appear.
Tap Move to… . This option is near the top of the drop-down menu.
On a Samsung Galaxy device, tap Move here instead.
Tap your SD card’s name.
It will pop up in a menu near the bottom of the screen.
Just tap SD card on a Samsung Galaxy device.
Select a folder to move your photos to. Either tap an existing folder, or tap ⋮ in the top-right corner, select New folder , and enter the folder’s name.
On a Samsung Galaxy, you can create a new folder by tapping Create folder on the left side of the screen and entering its name.
Tap MOVE . It’s in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Tap DONE on a Samsung Galaxy device.
