Infinix Zero X May Support 160W Wired and 50W Wireless Charging

About 4 days ago, an image of a new Infinix smartphone with a “Now” tag boldly written on the back, surfaced online. According to reports, the upcoming device, is said to pack a massive 160W charging. The Chinese smartphone maker Infinix, has now officially confirmed the existence of the device.

In a tweet shared via its official handle, Infinix India wrote “That’s right. 160W charging!” with the emoji ⚡ and the hashtag #Infinix. See tweet below;

In the tweet, Infinix never officially stated the name of the upcoming smartphone, but leakster Ice Universe, has revealed that the smartphone will be coming with the name Infinix Zero X. Asides gulping down 160W through a wire, the new Infinix Zero X will also be able to charge at 50W wirelessly.

Before now, the highest fast charging feature held by any smartphone maker, was that of Huawei which is 135W charger. This is followed by Oppo’s 125W charger, while the likes of Realme, Xiaomi, Black Shark, Red Magic, Vivo and iQOO came with a 120W charger. It is also reported that Xiaomi is working on 200W charging for later this year.
