President Muhammadu Buhari Approved the Ease Of Lockdown In a Democracy Day Broadcast


President Muhammadu Buhari, The commander in chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, in a democracy day broadcast announced the approval of the eased of lockdown.

The President who in the June 12, 2020 national democracy day broadcast stated that after considering the recommendations presented by the presidential task force on COVID-19 in accordance with the guidelines provided by the World Health Organization (WHO). Announced the approval on the ease of lockdown and to flatten the curve on COVID-19.

The President who stated the democracy day is a day to remember the enormous contributions made the sacrifice of our heroes past, who fought for the democracy we are enjoying today.

The President further implore all well meaning Nigerians to been patriotic and law abiding citizens, to obey all guidelines provided by the committee on COVID-19 and World Health Organization.

However, the President stated that building a successful Nation depends on her citizens committment in other to deliver on the dividend of democracy and promises made by the government of the day.
