You Must Never Do These Four Things To Your Face If You Want a Beautiful Fresh Face

what you mustn't do to your face

Face is the front part of the head that in humans extends from the forehead to the chin and includes the mouth, nose, cheeks, and eyes.

Having a healthy face and skin is one of the greatest things every lady dreams of. You can use all sorts of face products but they never work. You may be doing some dangerous things that interfere with your face. Below are the things you should never do to your face;

1. Sleeping With Makeup
Sleeping with makeup is one of the biggest mistakes most ladies make. Leaving makeup overnight can interfere with your skin pores hence causing skin irritation. It can also make your skin too dry.

2. Popping Up Pimples
Pimples can be so annoying to your face but never pop it at all. Give it time and it will disappear with time. Popping it will make it form a scar and cause irritation to the skin.

3. Using The Same Product For Long
You may be using the same product on your face but the skin changes with time and gets adapted to another ingredient. If you were using a certain product some years back, it may not work for your skin any longer.

4. Over-exfoliating
Exfoliating your face is important as it helps to get rid of the dead skin cells from the skin. But if you overdo it, it may cause harm to your skin by scratching it and cause irritation to it. When exfoliating, do it gently and softly with small granules.

You Might Have Hearth Attack When You Grow Older If You Have This Blood Type

things that cause heart attack

Heart attack occurs when an artery supplying your heart with blood and oxygen becomes blocked. Fatty deposits build up over time, forming plaques in your heart's arteries. If a plaque ruptures, a blood clot can form and block your arteries, causing a heart attack.

If you are a man that is about to hit the age of 50 and you hit the gym regularly, and maintain a healthy diet, but you suddenly have a tight feeling in your chest, it can’t be a heart attack right? New research suggests that one cause of heart attacks in men might be something you can’t even control - your blood type.

In a new and recent study, researchers compared data on more than 1,300,000 people from nine previous studies. Overall, they found that those with type A, type B, or type AB blood were 9 percent more likely to have a cardiovascular event (like a heart attack) than those with type O blood.

While it is not exactly clear why blood type might increase your heart attack risk, researchers have a few theories. For starters, they believe that people with non type-O blood tend to have higher levels of blood-clotting proteins, which make artery blockages—one of the main causes of a heart attack—more likely.

More so, the researchers also believe that people with types A, B, and AB blood are also more likely to have higher cholesterol and higher levels of inflammation which may trigger a heart attack.

Researchers hope that further studies will examine each blood type alone, as well as determine why the link between blood type and heart attack risk might exist.

While this news may appear all doom and gloom for people that have non type-O blood, there is however one positive side. Like cholesterol, age, and blood pressure, blood type could one day be a factor that helps predict heart disease.

If you are keen about reducing your risk of heart attack, you may want to undergo a number of lifestyle changes that can help prevent cardiovascular disease.

You Must Never Eat These Four Foods In An Empty Stomach

foods you mustn't eat in empty stomach

Certain foods are not recommended to eat on an empty stomach. These are the foods that will do you more harm than good to your body if you eat in an empty stomach;

1. Raw Green Vegetables
Consumption of raw vegetables is not recommended. The vegetables can lead to irritation in the stomach.

They contain fibres that can be insoluble. Stay away from the vegetables whenever you have not eaten anything for hours.

2. Yoghurt
Many people love yoghurt. It comes with endless benefits to the body.

However, it is recommended not to take yoghurt in the morning because it can lead to stomach issues. The yoghurt contains acid that can affect your body when ingested into the bloodstream.

3. Bananas
Eating bananas when you wake up the first thing in the morning is a mistake. Bananas should only be eaten after meals. Bananas have been proven to contain magnesium and potassium. The two will be imbalanced if you eat bananas in the morning hence leading to heart problems.

4. Pre-mixed Oatmeal
Oatmeal is among the most common foods taken for breakfast in most homes. It contains proteins, vitamins and fibre among other nutrients. However, it cannot be taken on an empty stomach because it would lead to harmful effects on your body.

You Can Never Contact HIV/AIDS If You Have This Blood Type

blood type that can resist hiv

HIV is a virus that damages the immune system. The immune system helps the body fight off infections. Untreated HIV infects and kills CD4 cells, which are a type of immune cell called T cells. Some people are genetically at greater risk of HIV infection than others. The first genetic mutation associated with HIV susceptibility was identified in the mid-1990s. Known as the CCR5-Delta32mutation, it seems to confer strong resistance to infection by HIV.

This gene mutation is found most commonly in certain European populations. That is possible because it was also associated with resistance to other diseases such as smallpox or the Bubonic Plague.

In early 2009, a paper was published announcing that another genetic mutation may also confer some level of resistance to HIV.

This mutation affects the level of expression of a protein known as Pk. Pk is found on the surface of several types of blood cells. In particular, it's found on a wide range of cells that are susceptible to HIV infection. This small study found that cells with high levels of Pk were significantly harder to infect with HIV than cells with no Pk. The same scientists have also published a study showing that individuals with a condition (Fabry's disease) that increases their levels of Pk seem to be resistant to one type of HIV.

Interestingly, this genetic resistance has played an important role in functional cure research. The case of the Berlin patient involved a man who was given bone marrow cells from someone with the CCR5 mutation.

Combined with antiretroviral treatment, this therapy seems to have eradicated the virus from his system. Virus even seemed to have been eradicated from his viral reservoir.

Note: The study has been heavily publicized as saying that your blood type can protect you against HIV. Pk is a way of typing blood. However, it is not commonly used andnot part of either the A/B/O or Rh typing systems.

Furthermore, the study in question only looked at in vitro susceptibility and their earlier study in people only found resistance to one type of HIV. Therefore it is important not to overstate the results of the study. It seems likely that people with mutations that increase the amount of Pk will be more resistant to HIV than people with lower levels of Pk. This information may potentially lead to new types of HIV therapeutics. However, to say that blood type can protect against HIV infection is grossly premature.

Living with HIV can be really hard. So it's important for we people with HIV to find a place to get support and find love. Fortunately, a friend of mine who are a single with HIV told me that the largest HIV dating site now has more than 560,000 members, which makes it's easier for singles with HIV to find support and love.

Four Main Causes of Pain During Intercourse That You Need to Know

courses of pain during intercourse

Pain during intercourse isn’t common among couples—most causes are easily fixable while others are not. If you do have any pain during the action, it’s important to pay attention.

First things first: Determine whether the pain is transient (an occasional occurrence) or consistent (a regular problem you’ve had more than two or three times in a row).

Analyze the situation when the pain occurs: What’s going on in your body in that moment? Are you in an uncomfortable position? That will help your ob-gyn figure out for sure what’s going on. Here are the most common reasons you might feel pain during intercourse;

1. You’re Not Lubricated Enough
Having intercourse when you’re not fully lubed up can be seriously uncomfortable. “The tissues are not engorged and lubricated and ready,” says Dr. Coady.

Luckily, there’s a pretty easy fix. If you’re not getting naturally aroused, spend more time on foreplay. But even with foreplay, some women need a little extra help (and that’s totally OK). Look for a lube that’s water-based (i.e., formulated without oil) if you’re using condoms.

2. You Have An Infection
Yeast infections and urinary tract infections can make intercourse really uncomfortable. While these things are generally easy to treat on their own, they can be exacerbated (or first made evident) by intercourse. Your doctor will likely advise you to forgo intercourse while you’re being treated for the infection. If the pain doesn’t resolve, don’t be afraid to head back to your doctor for a follow-up. If there’s pain in the bladder and it’s consistent and antibiotics don’t work, that should really be evaluated.

3. You’re Constipated or Bloated
Both of these issues—especially bloat—can cause pelvic pain during intercourse. But, they should be short-lived. If it’s a consistent problem, let your doctor know.

4. Your Pelvic-floor Muscles Are Shortened, Overactive
The muscles in your female organ might tense up due to vestibulodynia, but it can also be a sign of more serious conditions like interstitial cystitis or painful bladder syndrome.

These conditions can cause the muscles to become shortened or overactive, Dr. Coady says, because they’re reacting to another issue in your body. Your doctor may refer you to a pelvic floor physical therapist.

These Bad Things Will Happen In Your Body if You drink too Much Of water for 3 Days

Water is known as a substance composed of the chemical elements hydrogen and oxygen and existing in gaseous, liquid, and solid states. It is one of the most plentiful and essential of compounds. If you are constantly drinking water, you should be aware of the signs you’re drinking too much water. With everything you hear and read about drinking water, you might think that you need to drink a lot of water to be healthy. In fact, there are some people who recommend drinking a gallon of water a day for health. While it is true that staying hydrated is extremely important, you can consume too much water.

However, how much water you need depends on your size, activity level, and the type of food you eat. You may be well intentioned by trying to drink a lot of water, but you could be drinking too much. If you suspect you might be doing that, you should pay attention to these signs you’re drinking too much water;

1. Electrolyte Imbalance
An electrolyte imbalance is one of the signs you’re drinking too much water. Electrolytes are mineral salts, like sodium and potassium, that your body needs. They help your body carry electrical impulses, which means they are especially important for heart and nerve function.

Drinking too much water can dilute the electrolytes, causing you to have low levels of electrolytes. Having low electrolytes is a serious problem that can result in unpleasant symptoms like headaches.

2. Clear Urine
Have you ever heard that your urine should be clear? It is not true. Your urine should have some color in it. According to the Cleveland Clinic, having pale yellow urine or even dark urine indicates you are hydrated. When your urine is clear, you have definitely overdone it on drinking water.

Making sure you get enough water is important, but you also want to make sure you don’t get too much water. Don’t try to force yourself to drink a gallon of water a day just because you read that it is a healthy practice. Instead, follow your body’s cues for how much water to drink.

3. Headaches
Headaches are one of the signs you may be drinking too much water. When you drink more water than your body needs, the sodium levels in your blood drop, which causes your cells to expand. As a result, your brain can swell and you can get a headache.

4. Slow Metabolism
You might be surprised that drinking too much water can slow your metabolism, but it actually can. Because consuming more water than you need causes the cells in your body to have low levels of sodium and glucose, your body can’t produce energy efficiently. When your body can’t efficiently produce energy, your metabolism slows and you can become tired.

5. Muscle Cramps
Muscle cramps are another sign that you could be getting too much water. Because drinking excessive amounts of water causes your electrolyte levels to drop, you could develop muscle cramps from low electrolytes. To prevent this from happening, make sure you are replacing your electrolytes with electrolyte drinks like coconut water.

6. Adrenal Fatigue
Adrenal fatigue is generally caused by being under too much stress, but drinking too much water can also cause adrenal fatigue.

Consuming too much water puts stress on your body, because your kidneys have to work harder to filter the water to ensure the fluid levels in your body stay balanced. This can cause your stress hormones to be over stimulated, which can leave you feeling like you can’t get out of bed.\

7. Frequent Urination
Frequent urination is an obvious sign that you are drinking too much water. Your kidneys can filter up to 15 liters of water a day, which means if you are drinking a lot of water you will have to go to the bathroom frequently. If you are really overdoing it with water, you may end up having to go to the bathroom multiple times an hour.

If You Are Using Smartphone and You Don't Stop Doing This, You Might Soon Be Blind

Effects of pressing phone at night

If you are a smartphone user, a gamer and you always use your phone at night, you need to be very careful cause you may temporarily go blind if you don’t stop it.

Doctors are warning smartphone users about the potentially irreversible damage that can be done after one man went temporarily blind while playing games on his phone in bed.

According to the victim Wang from Xi’an, that he momentarily lost his sight after playing games on his smartphone with the lights on

Medical professionals say he suffered what is known as an “eye stroke” and the damage can be devastating.

“I was using my right eye to look at my phone, and I could see some words but not others,” Wang told the South China Morning Post.

“I love playing on my phone, but at night my wife doesn’t want me using it because the screen light is too bright after the lights have been turned off.”

According to Wang’s doctor Lei Tao, his temporarily blindness was caused by an “overuse of electronic items,” which can lead to “excessive strain on vision”.

“The occurrence rate is getting higher each year, and there is a trend of younger victims.
“The rate of permanent blindness is also high, which can seriously affect the patient’s quality of life and contribution to society.”

Research shows that using a smartphone at night, in the dark, especially during bedtime, can actually cause the feeling of “transient smartphone blindness”

What to Do to Prevent It
* At night, reduce the brightness of your smartphone to the minimum in order to avoid stories that touch the eyes and affect the economy of your pocket.

* Those of you using a laptop, you’ll notice that your eyes are gradually being affected probably because you stay too much on the system and as a result, it’s affecting your vision. Reduce your system brightness to the minimum.

Meet Stephen Crohn, A 49 Years Old Freelance Editor Who Cannot Contact HIV / Aids

man that can resist hiv
Scientists have just found a man who cannot contact the virus that causes Aids – and his blood may hold the key to developing the first vaccine.

In his blood, the New Yorker, Stephen Crohn, has the first known substance in the world that will defeat the HIV virus. Scientists already knew of many individuals who remain healthy for a very long time between infection with HIV and developing full blown Aids.

The difference in the case of Mr Crohn and the others now identified is that they appear to be resistant to infection with HIV in the first place. Mr Crohn, 49, a freelance editor for Fodor’s Travel Guides, and another New Yorker who also appears to be immune, were discovered by a young Glaswegian scientist, Dr Bill Paxton, of the Aaron Diamond Aids Research Center in New York. Dr Paxton and his colleagues have found a further 23 people who, although not completely immune, show some degree of resistance to HIV infection. Many have remained free of HIV despite a history of unsafe sex with multiple sexual partners who subsequently died of Aids.

From these individuals, Dr Paxton and his colleagues have taken the white blood cells, known as CD4 cells, which are the particular target of HIV, cultured the cells in the laboratory, and tried unsuccessfully to infect them with HIV.

In the case of Mr Crohn’s cells, the researchers could only get the infection to “take” by flooding the cultured cells with huge amounts of virus, far more than would be present in the course of a naturally occurring form of infection. There have been indications that some people might be resistant to HIV infection, because of the chance shuffling of the genes they inherited from their parents. But this evidence is only statistical.

The new research has identified specific individuals and their biochemistry to work out the precise mechanism of resistance. Dr Paxton said, “If we can determine what is protecting these people then you ca n envisage therapy or vaccine design.” Dr Paxton and his colleagues have already identified one set of biochemical compounds, known as chemokines, which appear to be acting in these people to defeat HIV.

These substances were first recognised only five years ago and appear to play a role in the immune system. They report their findings in the April issue of the scientific journal Nature Medicine.

Conventional vaccines consist of antibodies to the infecting agent produced by the immune system. But, partly because HIV subverts the cells of the immune system itself and partly because it is highly variable, no one has succeeded in producing a vaccine against it. The chemokines Dr Paxton and his colleagues have found are not antibodies.

They are involved in the “inflammatory” response, when a wound or site of infection becomes inflamed. “I do not believe that next week everybody will be injecting chemokines and curing Aids, but definitely we’re on a line,” Dr Paxton said. He stressed that any vaccine or treatment was still a long way off: “I’m really worried about how people will take this news – people should not give up a safe sex policy.” For Mr Crohn, the thought that his blood might hold a vital secret in the battle against Aids “would be very touching to me.”

You Will Blame Yourself If You Do These Things After Eating, Take Note of No 1

what you mustn't do after eating

If you are the kind of person who likes doing anything after taking full meals then this list should be a concern to you. Not everything you do immediately after taking your meals is healthy. Below are somethings you should stop doing;

1. Smoking
Smoking is generally unhealthy whether after meals or any time. Smoking immediately after meals has been linked to irritable bowel syndrome and is also believed to cause ulcerative colitis.

2. Don't Work Out
The body needs a little time to digest food before you can start working out. Engaging in workouts immediately after meals disrupt the digestive process and can cause vomiting or stomach puffiness.

3. Don't Go to Sleep Directly
Laying down to sleep immediately after meals cause a lot of pressure to the diaphragm and can cause sleep apnea or strange snoring. Additionally, stomach acids may flow back into the oesophagus burning its inner layer.

4. Don't Drink Cold Water
Drinking very cold water is regarded as unhealthy for digestion. When you take very cold water immediately after meals, it causes food to clump together making it hard for digestion to take place. Warm water is recommended.

5. Eating Fruits Immediately After Meals
This is not dangerous at all but the point is, fruits are better digested on an empty or slightly full stomach. When you eat fruits on an already filled up stomach, you hardly get the essential nutrients therein.

Four Best Ways To Drink Water and Have a Flat Stomach Within One Week

benefits of water

When it comes to losing weight, one thing that many people intend to focus on is losing tummy fat and getting that flat stomach that they have always dreamed of. I’m sure you know all of the fundamentals for making this happen, about all of dietary changes you need to make and all of the dedicated exercise that you need to do, but have you remembered to consider just how important water is too? Here is how to drink water to get a flat stomach easily within some days.

1. Get into the habit of drinking a pint of cold water before you sit down to eat a big main meal. Not only does it give you that metabolism boost ready to receive the food, but it will also result in you eating much less because your stomach will feel fuller quicker. It is an easy and instant way to stop yourself from overeating, even if the mental temptation is there, you physically won’t be able to do it.

2. You can also use hot water to help your quest for a flat stomach. Drink oolong tea and green tea. Both of these teas contain catechins that can massively increase the productivity and pace of metabolism which is the number one way to start reducing body fat. They both also have the effect of being good appetite suppressants, which will obviously encourage you to eat less in the first place.

3. You can cut hundreds of calories from your diet by drinking water in place of the sugary sodas and high-calorie juices that you might assume are healthy but are actually full of calories. You can save up to as many as 300 calories just from making this simple switch, and water is just as quenching and satisfying as any other type of beverage!

4. To be most effective, you need to make sure that the water you are drinking is ice cold, because this is the best way to boost your metabolism. Your body goes in to overdrive trying to warm up the water inside you, and this will result in burning much more energy both then and for the next few hours before you drink another ice cold glass to start the process all over again.

Seven Best Exercises That Help In Growing Of Chest Muscle In Men and Women

chest exercise

This article is all about some exercises you can do that will help in growing of chest muscle.

Ever heard the phrase “variety is the spice of life”? It goes without saying that you can plateau very quickly if you just stick to the boring traditional movements. Even while doing the body weight version, you must incorporate multiple variations. After all, the goal is to continually challenge yourself. But, I’m talking about real gains, so can body weight variations really do the job? Do I have to lift? You will get the answers to your questions in this article. Below are the seven best exercise you can do to help in growing chest muscle;

1. The Dumbbell Squeeze-Press

This particular exercise involves a range of motion that will mount extreme pressure on your pectorals. And you know that such pressure is a key necessity for muscle growth. Your chest will remain activated and engaged all through the movement.

2. The Batwing Fly

Apart from strengthening the chest muscles, the batwing fly involves a range of motion that will cause damage to, and lead to serious growth and expansion of, the chest muscles. It is performed with dumbbells in each hand, and the back flat on an incline bench.

3. The Dumbbell Squeeze Push-up

This is a reverse motion of the squeeze-press, only this time you’re using your body-weight. However, instead of having your palms flat on the ground, you should wrap them around dumbbells. Dumbbells are joined together, and as you lower down, your chest should touch them. Then, pause and squeeze for a bit, before coming back up.

4. Weighted Push-ups

Push-ups are, and will always remain the chest classic. Imagine how much more growth will be achieved by adding weights to the movement. Weights can be added flexibly, either you place an iron plate, or sandbag on top of your back, or you wear a weighted vest.

5. The Chest Fly

This can be done on a bench, but using cables will give you the most experience. Because, it creates a steady tension and recruits multiple chest muscles at once. The range of motion provided by the chest fly will fire up your pecs.

6. The Neck Barbell Bench Press

You shouldn’t do this unsupervised, and it helps if you’re using a spotter, or assisted bench press machine for safety. This exercise requires that you hold the barbell above your neck, and then press down to target those shoulders and upper chest muscles.

7. The Plyometric Push-up

With this range of motion, your heart rate is way up, so your chest muscles are working double time. It’s just like a regular push-up, except that you’re driving up with enhanced force (almost like jumping with your arms), and then, adding a small clap in between.

Here Is What Happens When You Use Your Towel More Than 5 Times Without Washing

Defects of dirty towel

I know most of us hate laundry but according to an article in Time magazine, towels should be washed every two days. I know, you bought the dark ones so stains and dirt won’t show up quite so easily; I did the same. This trick was supposed to make our lives easier, right? You do not simply use a towel one time. That is blasphemy.

The thing is, those towels are crawling with bacteria. The study conducted by Charles Gerba, a microbiologist at the University of Arizona, found coliform (bacteria found in human feces) in 90% of bathroom towels and E. coli in 14% of bathroom towels. These things are nasty whether we can actually see the evidence or not. And we can all confirm sharing towels with our kids elevates the disgusting factor. To them, it’s not a piece of cloth for wiping off their freshly scrubbed body parts but are also booger catchers, work well for cleaning up pee off the floor, and are a good place to store scabs and poop specs.

Soft towels are supposed to feel like hugs and unicorn kisses. Those hugs are laced with bacteria that like to chill in the loo. After all, bathrooms provide the perfect environment for that shit with their warm, damp climates. The good news is that even though your towels are crawling with germs, it probably won’t physically harm you. Even if we come into contact with the bacteria, we will be fine. Our bodies are adapted to being able to live in this environment with all of these microbes around.

While we may not get sick, we could risk infection if any bacteria gets into an open cut or wound. So when you cut your leg shaving in the shower, maybe don’t dry that area off unless you know you towels are free of poop particles.

The best way to protect yourself is to wash kitchen and bathroom towels often. People should wash any bathroom towels after about two days of use, particularly if you have young children in the house. And not just any rinse will do. Bacteria can survive regular detergent, so use hot water and a product with activated oxygen bleach to thoroughly clean towels. You may be able to go slightly longer before washing if you’re careful about keeping towels very dry.

As long as it’s drying completely between use, there’s almost no chance of passing bacteria from one person to another. Still, you’ll want to wash them at least once a week. And if they start to smell, you know you’ve let them go too long. The bottom line is that if you stay on top of cleaning both your hands and your towels regularly, experts say it’s very unlikely they’ll make you sick!

Wow!! You Won't Believe That Guava Leaves Can Cure These Severe Illness, Check It Out

Benefits of guava leaves

These Things Will Happen To You When You Sleep In Your Bed In These Positions

Sleeping Positions

Sleep is a naturally recurring state of mind and body, characterized by altered consciousness, relatively inhibited sensory activity, reduced muscle activity and inhibition of nearly all voluntary muscles during rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, and reduced interactions with surroundings. It is distinguished from wakefulness by a decreased ability to react to stimuli, but more reactive than a coma or disorders of consciousness, with sleep displaying very different and active brain patterns.

The one thing our parents fool us into believing as kids is that sleep is a punishment. As we grow older, we slowly but surely start to realize that sleep is one of the best things that can happen to you on this Earth. Since we’re all different people, we all sleep in different positions and all have different sleeping experiences. Some of us don’t feel entirely rested after what should have been a good night of sleep, or some people snore without really knowing what’s causing that issue. Now thanks to a leftover science budget, research was made that determines how your sleeping position affects your health. Below are some of the sleeping positions that will affect you;

1. On Your Back

This can result in lower back pain or in worse snoring. While it causes lower back pain, it does in fact improve other kinds of back pains.

2. On Your Belly

While also causing lower back pain, it can cause neck pain too.

3. Spooning

Spooning will relax you and make you less stressed. If your partner has a bad morning temper, you could get yelled at if you wake them up by turning in bed.

4. A Starfish Thing

By which we mean “take up the entire bed”. This can help you out with neck and back pains, which you could’ve gotten from sleeping on your belly or back.

5. On Your Side

This is the best way to deal with snoring and has no other effects to speak of. For pregnant women, sleeping on your left side seems to be the best way to allow your baby to get all the nutrition it needs.

Beware!! These Things Will Happen In Your Body When You Consume Too Much Of Okra

Effects of okra

Okro is a flowering plant of the mallow family. It is a warm-season vegetable and a good source of minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber. It contains a sticky juice that people use to thicken sauces.

Studies have shown that eating okra can lead to infertility in men of reproductive age. Meanwhile, Okra has a lot of nutritious benefits as well.

However, consumption of okra, especially it's seeds can be inimical to men's sexual life as it can lead to infertility. This is corroborated by some Doctors that made some research on it.

According to Dr Erukanire, okra posseses a unique substance called 'Gossypol,' which inhibits sperm production and motility by blocking several enzymes that are highly important in energy metabolism in sperm and sperm producing cells.

'Gossypol is oil soluble and contains natural polyphenol secreted by plants as a defence against predators,' he said.

The senior researcher also pointed out that in some countries, okra seeds have been used for natural contraceptive for men.

Some clinical researches have been conducted as regards to the efficacy of gossypol as a contraceptive in China and Brazil.

The studies revealed that gossypol reduced the number and motility of sperms and made small percentage of the men infertile completely.

Gossypol may also lead to menstrual irregularity in women and has been linked to hypokalemia which damages red blood cells.

Generally, okra is not recommended in higher amount to people with the following conditions: Anaemic people, athletes, women with irregular menses and infertile men undergoing treatment.

Here Is What Happens to Your Body When You Drink Milk Everyday For 2 Weeks

health benefits of milk

We were told that drinking milk will make us strong and healthy since we were little kids. But have you ever thought about what exactly happens to our bodies when we drink milk? Then you are in for a treat because in this article I'm about to reveal some really fascinating things about milk and its impact on our bodies. As it turns out, drinking milk daily does not only provide health benefits, but also health problems. So here are they below;

1. Strong Teeth and Healthy Bones
Milk is a great source of calcium, and this is exactly what our teeth and bones need to be strong. Drinking milk can help protect your teeth from developing cavities and tooth decay. As for your bones, not only kids can benefit from drinking milk. We all know milk ensure the proper growth in kids, but adults can benefit from drinking milk just as much. In fact, milk helps improve bone density and reduce the risk of developing osteoporosis. However, do not forget to take plenty of vitamin D with your milk as it’s the only way your body will absorb all the calcium from milk.

2. Reduce Stress
Milk works great as a stress reliever. After a hard, stressful day at the office, drink a cup of hot milk before bed. It’ll help soothe your nerves and lull you to sleep.

3. It Can Cause Digestive Problems
Gas, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation – these are the symptoms you might experience from drinking milk if you are lactose intolerant, or you gut bacteria does not agree with lacto bacteria present in milk.

4. Boost Energy
While hot milk is good to calm your nerves, ice cold milk works great as an energy booster. Whenever you feel like your energy is drained, drink a glass of cold milk, you’ll feel revitalized in no time.

5. Helps Reduce Weight and Gain Muscle Mass
Milk is very nutritious and relatively low in calories at the same time. Milk contains proteins such as casein, albumin, and globulin – elements that are responsible for reducing appetite – which makes it a great snack. Drinking milk helps burn more calories thanks to the calcium and Vitamin D that increase your metabolism. As for muscle gain, again, milk is rich in proteins that are responsible for muscle growth. And the amino acids present in milk help reduce muscle soreness after a good heavy lifting session.

6. It Causes Acne
Not all elements present in milk are good for you. For example, D-galactose which is a by-product of lactose can cause skin inflammations. Recent studies revealed that teens who were drinking a higher amount of milk showed the symptoms of acne.

7. Helps With Heartburn
