Bible is a book that contains the word of God. Bible is a book that contains the plan and purpose of God for our life. That is why it is very important for us to study our Bible.
Understanding is what makes studies to be impactful. When you don’t understand what you are studying, then you are wasting your time, and the best thing to do is to look for a teacher, I mean someone to teach you.
Therefore, can someone please explain this Bible verse for me?
1 Corinthians 7 verse 36
King James version: But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.
Amplified Version: But if any man thinks that he is not acting properly toward and in regard to his virgin [that he is preparing disgrace for her or incurring reproach], in case she is passing the bloom of her youth and if there is need for it, let him do what to him seems right; he does not sin; let them marry.
English Standard Version: If anyone thinks that he is not behaving properly toward his betrothed, if his passions are strong, and it has to be, let him do as he wishes: let them marry it is no sin.
New Living Translation: But if a man thinks that he’s treating his fiancée improperly and will inevitably give in to his passion, let him marry her as he wishes. It is not a sin.
New American Standard Bible: But if any man thinks that he is acting unbecomingly toward his virgin daughter, if she is past her youth, and if it must be so, let him do what he wishes, he does not sin; let her marry.
Does this Bible verse means if I have s*x with my fiancée before we marry is not a Sin in as long as we marry each other?
Someone should explain this Bible verse for me before I do what I have in my mind. I have been thinking about this Bible verse for some times.
