Chief of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis warns world leaders about Coronavirus vaccines that when it is made, world leaders should not stockpile Coronavirus vaccine.
Speaking from the Papal Library in the Vatican on Sunday, Pope Francis said that any good vaccine produced should be made available worldwide for the benefit of all mankind. He called for open international scientific collaboration and for ensuring that every country benefits from COVID-19 vaccine.
“It is important to unite scientific ability, to find vaccines and treatments in a clear and unbiased manner.
“World leaders should guarantee universal access to vital technology that allow any infected person to obtain the required medical care in every part of the world,” he said.
About 3.5 million people are currently infected globally with Coronavirus, and 240,000 deaths are reported.
